- Plan and conduct occupational safety and health audits across U.S. operations, ensuring compliance with established protocols and regulatory requirements
- Assess compliance with OSHA standards and evaluate hazard control programs and safety systems
- Prepare clear and objective audit reports, ensuring timely distribution to business partners and leadership
- Collaborate with the audit program manager and safety and health SMEs to enhance audit protocols based on regulatory changes and internal needs
- Document findings and track corrective actions using internal audit systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related safety and health discipline
- Five (5) years of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or safety and health auditing experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulatory requirements and safety management system elements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including report development - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Share Point
- 7+ years of safety and health or industrial hygiene experience
- Prior auditing experience (internal, external, or third-party)
- CSP, CIH, or other relevant safety and health certifications
- Experience analyzing large data sets, including the use of pivot tables or similar tools
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or other safety and health auditing certifications
