Akkodis is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to play a critical role in safeguarding product quality, ensuring adherence to aviation regulations, and driving ongoing improvements within a highly regulated aerospace setting. This position requires frequent collaboration across departments, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to lead and influence quality‑related initiatives. The role also involves maintaining and updating the Repair Station Manual and Quality Manual to reflect evolving regulatory, corporate, and process requirements.
In addition, the manager serves as a primary leader for internal audits of varied complexity and acts as the organization’s representative during certification, regulatory, and customer audit activities.

Responsibilities- Partner with teams in operations, engineering, supply/logistics, and compliance to maintain alignment of quality practices.
- Support cross‑departmental initiatives and help resolve issues using structured problem‑solving techniques such as 8D.
- Promote continuous improvement principles throughout the organization.
- Investigate and analyze quality or production challenges to determine underlying causes using data‑based methodologies.
- Develop and implement both corrective and preventive actions to ensure conformance with performance and regulatory obligations.
- Oversee prompt closure of nonconformances to meet customer and regulatory expectations.
- Act as a technical resource for internal groups and external partners.
- Respond to customer quality questions, provide evidence‑based assessments, and help maintain customer confidence.
- Assist with customer visits, inspections, and third‑party audit activities as needed.
- Strong understanding of quality systems and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, QRQC, 8D).
- Ability to interpret and apply major aerospace quality requirements such as AS9100, FAA regulations, EASA and UK CAA Part 145.
- Background in performing audits and conducting root‑cause investigations.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (49 CFR and IATA) is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
