* Position Summary:

** This position is responsible for operating a variety of CNC mills and lathes, brake press, tube benders. Operator will  load, unload, and inspect parts during the machining process. Operator will be responsible for maintaining part quality and while achieving production standards.

* Position Responsibilities:

*** Loads, unloads, and inspects parts being machined while maintaining published PPH.
* Operates a minimum of one lathe or mill along with performing secondary operations.
* Maintains accurate part counts, fills out Box Tags, and Job/Quantity Tracker.
* Reports and asks supervisor/lead for assistance with any machining problems.
* Follows documented operator procedures such as inspection check sheets and posted operator notes
* Maintains a clean work area and observes all safety procedures
* Can execute machine offsets and insert changes with direction of supervisor or lead-person.
* Produces parts with less than 1.5% scrap rate on a consistent basis.
* Operates a variety of Lathes and Mills, along with secondary operations with routine supervision.
* Operates a minimum of 2 machines simultaneously.
* Deburr, clean, and package finished parts as required.
* Other duties as needed.
