- Diagnose and resolve failures in mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic, recording, and control systems.
- Install, repair, inspect, test, calibrate, adjust, maintain, modify, construct, clean, and service plant equipment.
- Use prints, drawings, diagrams, manuals, and codes to plan and execute work.
- Lay out, assemble, and wire components for installations, replacements, and repairs.
- Perform and document temperature and combustion surveys.
- Work at height as needed; erect/remove ladders and scaffolding safely.
- Operate material handling equipment and vehicles properly.
- Complete maintenance work orders and keep calibration and calculation records accurate.
- Follow all safety rules and company policies, meeting Monthly Safety Leading Indicator Requirements as outlined in the Rewards and Recognition Program.
- Excellent attendance, dependable mindset, and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and apply new concepts; strong work ethic
- Safe operation of power equipment
- Ability to collaborate and to work with minimal supervision
- Respectful written and verbal communication
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or foundry setting
- PLC exposure a plus; foundry background a plus
- Mechanical troubleshooting
- Working with 120/208/240/480 voltage systems
- Reading a tape measure accurately
- Heat Gun
- Vector Graphics Software
- Power Tools
- Crane and Overhead Crane
- Universal Machining Center (3-4 axis)
- Conveyor Systems Industrial Robot
