REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 17 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Responsibilities

2nd shift Processing Associate; 3pm to 11pm, starting wage $22.72.

* What you'll start out doing?

* Learn our safety and quality procedures.

* Build a variety of skills related to processing, drying, shredding and operating equipment safely and efficiently.

* What to expect:

* This is a heavy industry environment with high safety and quality standards.

* You start training on day shift working 8 hr. shifts, M-F, after initial training period of 1 to 4 weeks the shift will be 3pm to 11pm.

* Work safely and help to maintain a safe work environment

* Hard working with a good work ethic

* Ability to operate power equipment

* Ability to work as a team and independently with little supervision; teamwork

* Strong written and oral communication skills; respectful communication

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

* Ability to follow instructions

* Accurately recording weights of material going into and out of dryer and shredder

* Complete other duties as assigned as required by the needs of the business

* Maintains yard housekeeping standards
