Attorney Needed for Coldwater, Michigan office. Well established Austin, Texas based boutique law firm seeking full-time licensed attorney for our Michigan office in Coldwater (Branch County). Michigan law license and at least one year experience required along with the ability to obtain a Texas law license. To apply, please submit a cover letter and resume. About the Firm:
The firm was established in the early 1980s in Austin, Texas. The primary practice focus of the firm is general counsel for Municipal Utility Districts and other water supply utilities in the State of Texas. The firm also has a significant number of homeowner association clients with whom we assist in all legal matters including contract review, general legal advice, collection of delinquent assessments, and document drafting, including but not limited to restrictive covenants and building and design guidelines.

The Michigan office was established in 2019 and provides attorney and legal assistant coordination with the Austin office for Texas clients and is expanding its real estate and estate planning practice for Michigan clients. The firm currently has three attorneys and additional support staff but is looking to expand its footprint in Michigan.

Minimum Qualifications:

All candidates must hold a J.D. from an accredited ABA law school, be a licensed attorney in Michigan, be in good standing with the Michigan Bar and have the ability to obtain a Texas law license.

Salary: $75,000 per year to start with paid vacation and sick leave. Health insurance is provided for the attorney.
