Description
We are looking for goal-oriented students who are eager to apply their problem-solving skills to real engineering challenges.
This role may include efforts such as:
- Assisting in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall product quality.
- Participating in lean initiatives to identify and assist with executing opportunities for process optimization.
- Assisting in evaluating new tools, materials, and technologies to improve manufacturing processes.
- Creating and maintaining process documentation and work instructions.
- Working on cross-functional teams to support the resolution of production issues and challenges, as well as assisting with the implementation of new processes or improvements.
- Assisting with research, testing, and implementation of ongoing engineering projects.
- Providing technical assistance and support for ongoing product development and manufacturing challenges.
- Assisting in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards for quality control and process safety.
- Participating in safety walkthroughs and recommending improvements as necessary.

- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, fabrication, or quality control.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software (Solid Works 2024) and technical drawings.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous related internship experience is a plus.
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with at least two years of academic progress in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
