Clark Wood are delighted to be partnering with a leading Top 20 UK accountancy firm in their search for an ambitious Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team in Colchester.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a nationally recognised firm with an excellent reputation for staff development, strong client relationships, and a collaborative working culture. The Colchester office continues to see sustained growth across its audit portfolio, creating the need for a driven and career-focused individual to strengthen the team.
As an Audit Semi Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality audit assignments for a diverse client base including owner‑managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporate groups across a range of sectors.
Responsibilities- Assisting in the planning and completion of statutory audits
- Leading on‑site audit fieldwork
- Preparing accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff members
- Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
- ACA / ACCA Part Qualified (or AAT Qualified with strong audit experience)
- At least 2+ years’ experience within a UK practice environment
