We are recruiting on behalf of a Top 15 UK Accountancy Firm for an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing team in Colchester. As an Audit Senior, you will take responsibility for leading audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will work closely with clients across a wide variety of sectors, supervise junior staff, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality audits.

• Lead audit fieldwork for a range of clients
• Identify and address key audit risks
• Review work completed by junior team members
• Support audit planning and completion processes
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
• Contribute to improved processes and best practices within the team

• Strong experience in external audit
• Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
• Confident communication and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments
• Experience with Excel and Word;
  Case Ware experience desirable
• Positive, proactive, and team‑focused approach

• Hybrid working
  : 2 days from home + flexible core hours
