Location: Colchester

Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum (£30,000 basic + £6,000 bonus)

Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am–12:00pm

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Tyre Technician to join a busy and professional workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Tyre Technician who takes pride in their work, delivers excellent customer service, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

As a Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a full range of tyre-related duties while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer care.

• Removing, repairing, and fitting tyres
• Diagnosing tyre faults and advising on repair or replacement
• Wheel balancing and wheel alignment
• Carrying out puncture repairs
• Working with tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Managing your daily workload effectively as a Tyre Technician

• Previous experience working as a Tyre Technician or in a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of tyre fitting, repairs, and diagnostics
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Confident using basic computer systems
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Able to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
