You will receive a 12‑month preceptorship programme, begin work as a band 4 pre‑registration nurse while awaiting NMC registration, and have a named preceptor from day one.

• Provide unsupervised assessment and care of paediatric patients, planning and evaluating care plans.
• Support the Charge Nurse/Senior Sister in monitoring safety and quality of care.
• Carry out nursing procedures in accordance with Trust policies, ensuring staff understand and comply.
• Maintain accurate nursing records using written and electronic documentation.
• Monitor and record staffing levels, escalating issues as necessary.

This role is for UK‑based, newly qualified registered paediatric nurses. Internationally trained nurses requiring OSCE are not considered.
