The purpose of your role is to help the manufacturing process by running machinery, monitoring product quality, and keeping hygiene standards to ensure steady production.

• Drive a forklift truck for picking and packing and unloading of lorries and operate production machinery and equipment to meet daily targets.
• Conduct quality checks (weight, temperature and visual), process orders onto ERP systems and maintain accurate production records ensuring traceability for auditing.
• Always comply with health and safety and high standards of cleanliness preventing contamination.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (reduce waste, improve line efficiency); contribute ideas and implement agreed changes.
• Contribute to meetings and daily briefings.

The successful candidate shall have experience within an FMCG environment - ideally food manufacturing.

A counterbalance FLT Licence is essential.

The Warehouse & Production Operative job () is paying £24,000 to £28,500 per annum according to your experience.

The site is in Essex and commutable from Halstead, Braintree, Manningtree, Colchester and surrounding towns.
