A national group of market-leading wholesale and distribution businesses is looking for a proactive and commercially-minded Business Manager to take the reins of their successful operation in Colchester.

As Business Manager, you’ll be taking ownership of a well-established UK trade and distribution brand. You’ll set direction, drive growth, and lead an experienced team to deliver exceptional service and profitability by:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing B2B customers
• Being responsible for the running of the entire business, including full P&L, managing and mentoring employees, driving sales, marketing, logistics and purchasing
• Ensuring the achievement of set targets and objectives
• Driving sales growth by identifying opportunities to develop company performance and revenue

As a Business Manager, you will receive:

• Up to £70,000 basic salary + uncapped profit share bonus (£30,000+)
• An uncapped profit share bonus based on your performance

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Be either a proven manager with P&L responsibility, or a high-performing salesperson ready to step up into a leadership role

• Be commercially aware, sales-driven, and a strong relationship-builder
• Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
