The role

The role will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs across the business to ensure colleagues have the skills and knowledge required to use the company’s business systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy and plans aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with operational directors and department heads.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs using various methods (including classroom, e-learning, workshops, floor walking).
  • Ensure all mandatory and compliance training requirements are met across the business.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of training materials, user guides, and documentation.
  • Monitor and report on training effectiveness, including post‑training evaluations and performance metrics.
  • Ensure training delivery complies with health and safety standards and data protection regulations.
  • Advise on business continuity planning including ensuring continuity of processes throughout holiday periods, staff absences and abstractions.
  • Manage the training sub‑team in the Business Systems team.
  • Attend and contribute to Business System team meetings.
Requirements
  • Able to travel to residential care homes and other Care UK sites.
  • Experience in using and training a wide range of business systems.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs.
