Job Title: Corporate Account Handler

Location: Colchester

Salary: Up to £50,000

You’ll manage the full administration of commercial clients’ insurance requirements, from enquiries and renewals to quotations and mid-term adjustments. Working with both Mid-Market and Corporate clients, you’ll play a key role in helping businesses navigate evolving risks while contributing to a forward-thinking, supportive team environment. Hybrid working is available from the Colchester office.

• Monitor renewals and new business activity to support forward planning and ensure smooth client journeys
• Oversee timely and accurate documentation production, helping clients stay protected and compliant
• Handle market and third-party queries and prepare high-quality supporting documentation
• Plan and coordinate your workload to support team objectives and service-level standards
• Maintain client files and credit control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Work closely with Account Executives on renewal strategy, attending client meetings where required to strengthen relationships and outcomes

• Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to work independently under pressure
• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across clients, colleagues and insurers
• Willingness to learn and support junior team members
• Solid technical commercial insurance knowledge
• Maths and English GCSEs (or equivalent)
• A-levels and Cert CII (desirable)
• Acturis experience (preferred)
