FM Assistant (Cleaning) – Colchester

Job OverviewBand 2 – £12.51 per hour (£24,465 per annum pro rata). Various hours available.
Kingswood – Peter Bruff – Tuesday, 15:00 – 19:00 (vacant after 26.01.26).
Mary St. Aubyn Centre – Larkwood – Thursday, 15:00 – 19:00.
This role involves participation in the in‑house FM services for specified areas including in‑patient and retail outlets. Services may include cleaning, catering, portering, bed making and laundering where applicable.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out cleaning duties to maintain an excellent standard of the environment.
- Provide support in catering, portering, bed making and laundering services as required.
- Work alongside patients and occasionally interact with them whilst carrying out duties.
- Adapt to flexible working patterns and be a valued member of the Estates & Facilities Management Team.
- Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship available.
- Willingness to comply with DBS checks; cost will be deducted from first salary.
- COVID‑19 vaccination required for those deployable to a CQC registered care home.
- Annual leave: 27 days plus bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 10 years of service (pro‑rata to hours worked).
