Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regular reporting to influence performance and efficient cost control across the business, including benchmarking of care homes and service types.
  • Prepare regular reporting and monthly management accounts and support analysis to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure statistical data and KPIs are accurately reported.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly and deal with any required actions promptly.
  • Maintain a strong financial control environment and review compliance of key controls for the balance sheet account to SOX standards.
  • Assist with SOX testing of internal controls to ensure a robust control environment.
  • Actively improve processes and practices and monitor compliance.
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities through general interactions with operations.
  • Business partner operations teams to gain knowledge and feedback on key spend lines on the P&L.
  • Involve in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide day‑to‑day support to the activities of the Financial Controller, Director of Finance and CFO.
What We're Looking For
  • ACCA / CIMA / ACA part‑qualified.
  • Previous experience of management accounts preparation including accrual calculations, balance sheet reconciliations and accounting adjustments to tight deadline.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand a task as well as perform it.
