Senior Finance LeaderSalary: £70,000–£80,000 OTE
Location: UK / Hybrid
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

As a senior member of the finance function, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, driving transformation, and influencing key decisions at the highest level.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Group Finance Director and Executive Team to lead major strategic projects that drive performance and create long-term value across the business.
What You’ll Be DoingStrategic Leadership & Innovation
- Developing and evolving long-term business and financial strategy to support ambitious growth and future investment.
- Leading cost improvement and efficiency programmes using AI, automation, and data-led insights.
- Providing high-impact financial storytelling and insight to influence Board-level decisions.
Hands-On Delivery
- Building a detailed 5-year financial plan to support both organic and M&A growth.
- Supporting acquisitions through financial evaluation, modelling, and due diligence.
- Leading valuation and funding-related work.
- Embedding AI, automation tools, and advanced data visualisation.
- Reviewing reward and incentive frameworks.
- Overseeing implementations and adjustments aligned with FRS
102.
You will be a qualified accountant (
ACA / ACCA / CIMA
) with 5–10 years PQE
, confident working in a fast-paced environment and ready to lead from the front. You’ll bring:
- Strong financial modelling and strategic planning capability.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decision-making.
- A background in system upgrades, automation, data transformation or modernisation projects.
- A proactive, ownership-driven approach to complex projects.
- Commercially sharp, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Able to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
- Thrives in a hands-on role and is motivated by driving meaningful progress.
