We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our Home ownership team. Using your flair for customer service and ability to think on your feet, you’ll play a key role in identifying areas of risk and ensuring these are reported in a timely fashion and are closely monitored.
This opportunity involves communicating with a variety of customers and coordinating contractor workloads; therefore, we are looking to appoint someone with recent experience within a similar role where exceptional customer service is demonstrated. As a Scheme Manager you will be responsible for day to day management of communal areas on leasehold retirement schemes.
Please note that this is a residential only role and we are only looking for candidates who are willing to live on site.
Responsibilities- Encouraging residents to maintain their well-being and independence through the effective delivery of housing support services that are tailored to meet individual needs and organisational objectives
- Carrying out regular welfare checks using warden call system - quarter checks in all properties
- Reporting and managing communal repairs - managing on site contractors including cleaners, gardeners and window cleaners
- Providing administrative support including producing letter/notices, recording data, raising purchase orders, invoice management and support resales
- Confidently communicating with customers, face to face and via telephone concerning a range of queries/complaints and offering advice and guidance
- Ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements for housing services
- Occasionally cover at other schemes during times of absence, attend team meetings
- Experience of working with older people in a support capacity, and a good understanding of the key needs and services available to residents
- Experience in building or facility management
- Knowledge and experience of M365 including Word, Excel, Teams and Sharepoint
- Experience of good practice for resident involvement or customer participation activities and practices
- Ability to organise and prioritise multiple workloads effectively
- Excellent communication and customer care skills
- Experience of using a customer interaction system for recording interactions with residents
- Familiar with the Housing Act, Fire Safety Act, Inclusion and Equality, safeguarding
- A full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required as travelling to other sites may be required
