We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a specialist team supporting students with complex educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health challenges, communication difficulties, and trauma‑related behaviours. As part of a nurturing and innovative team, your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Delivering engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Setting, marking and providing constructive feedback on assignments, homework, and assessments.
• Supporting pupils in gaining a strong command of spoken and written English, enabling them to communicate confidently and effectively.

• Passionate about working with students with SEND.
• Experienced – ideally with at least 2 years in a SEND environment or similar provision.
• Qualified – QTS/QTLS is essential.
• Committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.

This co‑educational provision supports pupils aged 11–17 and offers a highly personalised education programme. The school is designed for students who have not thrived in mainstream settings and require a more therapeutic approach to learning. Many of our pupils have experienced trauma or have complex emotional and social difficulties. That’s why we go beyond the typical classroom, providing specialised interventions and a team‑based approach to helping young people reach their potential.
