Salary: £51,773 to £54,395 (Dependent on Experience)

We teach in small groups with a dedicated and experienced teaching team, ensuring that each student receives individual attention and care. We create individual learning packages to support our students' needs.
Main Duties- Lead safeguarding and child protection across the school as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring full compliance with statutory guidance.
- Embed a strong safeguarding culture, managing concerns, referrals, multi-agency liaison, and staff safeguarding training.
- Act as Designated Teacher for Looked After and Previously Looked After Children, promoting achievement and overseeing high-quality Personal Education Plans (PEPs).
- Provide strategic leadership of pastoral care, behaviour, and attendance using a relational and trauma-informed approach.
- Monitor and analyse safeguarding, behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing data to drive improvement and report impact to senior leaders and external stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate the Personal Development curriculum, including PSHE, RSE, and Careers Education, ensuring statutory compliance.
- Contribute to quality of education, curriculum development, staff performance management, and whole-school improvement as a member of SLT.
- Model and promote the ethos and values of In Toto Ed, maintaining a visible, calm, and consistent leadership presence.
- Strong leadership, safeguarding expertise, and ability to drive whole-school improvement.
- Effective communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Willing to submit an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Significant experience in safeguarding and pastoral leadership, including experience acting as or working closely with a Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- Experience supporting looked after children and understanding of statutory safeguarding guidance.
- Complete Child Protection Training. Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children and young person's they are responsible for, or come into contact with.
