Qualified Primary Teacher – Long-Term Role – Colchester

Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking to settle into a longer-term role in Colchester? Ready to swap the uncertainty of daily supply for consistency, connection and a classroom you can truly make your own?

We’re working with welcoming and supportive schools in Colchester who are looking for dedicated teachers to join them on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships, see the impact of your teaching over time, and become a valued part of a school community (and yes — finally remember where the staffroom mugs are kept).

The Role
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
  • Track and support pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
  • Maintain strong safeguarding and behaviour standards

Year group placement will be matched to your strengths and experience.

What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Recent UK primary teaching experience
  • Strong curriculum knowledge
  • Confident classroom management
  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for making a difference
Why Work with Protocol Education?
  • Competitive daily rates
  • Long-term roles with potential for permanent positions
  • Ongoing CPD and career development
  • A dedicated consultant who genuinely supports you
  • Local placements in Colchester and surrounding areas
  • Refer-a-friend bonus scheme

If you’re ready for a role where you can build momentum, make an impact and feel part of a team, we’d love to hear from you.

Let’s find you a classroom that feels like home.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.
