Monday - Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, every other Friday is a 1pm finish.
Pay: £95 per day (the 1pm finish is £65 p/d).

We are working with a specialist SEN/SEMH day school in Colchester that is seeking a committed Graduate SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team. This Teaching Assistant role involves supporting students with a range of SEN needs, emotional distress, mental health and social struggles as well as Autism and ADHD.

Job Overview:

This school caters for students between ages 10-16, who have additional SEN/SEMH needs.

Full-time, Monday - Friday, Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role (no personal care involved).

Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support across ages 10-16.
Support pupils with autism, ADHD, and associated barriers to learning within this Colchester setting.
Assist with behaviour regulation strategies and personalised learning plans.
Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team in Colchester.
Opportunity for a Long-Term position after summer term.

Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or a graduate with relevant experience.

A proactive and hardworking attitude with a willingness to learn.
Calm, resilient and nurturing approach to behaviour management.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
