Learning Support Assistant – 1:1 SEN Support

Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN in a mainstream primary school setting.
What you’ll be doing :- Supporting a child’s learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing on a 1:1 basis
- Working closely with class teachers to implement personalised strategies
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement in all areas of learning
- Supporting the wider school team with classroom activities and routines
- Experience supporting children with SEN in a school environment
- Empathetic, patient, and understanding, with a genuine interest in children’s development
- A proactive team player who uses initiative and adapts to the needs of the classroom
- Confident in providing 1:1 support while fostering independence and positive behaviour
- Flexible work tailored around school needs and your availability

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
