DetailsOur client, a well‑respected educational setting, is seeking a skilled and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. In this role, you'll provide invaluable support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. With a competitive salary range of £90 to £105 per day, this position offers both financial rewards and the opportunity to build a fulfilling career in education.
Key Responsibilities- Providing one‑on‑one and small group support to students with special educational needs
- Collaborating with teachers to adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the unique needs of each student
- Encouraging student participation and engagement in classroom activities
- Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student support and interventions
- Assisting with the management of student behaviour and promoting a positive classroom environment
- Relevant qualifications in education, special needs, or a related field (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification)
- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
- Knowledge of various learning disabilities and their impact on educational outcomes
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive teaching strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational software
