An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Year 6 teacher to join our outstanding primary school located in the heart of Colchester

A wonderful state‑of‑the‑art Key Stage 2 building, opened in September 2024, now houses our KS2 classes and provides an exceptional learning environment. This role kabul starts in February 2026 and will involve teaching a Year 6 class. The successful Year 6 teacher must have proven experience teaching upper KS2 and be willing to take on full class responsibility. PPA time is provided on a Monday afternoon.

• Teach a Year 6 class, delivering a wide range of the curriculum.

• Manage a class of children with diverse needs.
• Takes full responsibility for the class, including behaviour management and lesson planning.
• Participate in the life, systems and routines of the school.
• Attend during the PPA time on a Monday afternoon.

• Proven experience teaching upper KS2.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Willingness to take fullозна responsibility for a Year 6 class.
