Job Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily transport operations at Tirupur & Perundurai SIPCOT units.
Vehicle scheduling, route planning, and driver allocation.
Ensure preventive maintenance, vehicle fitness, and breakdown control.
Maintain fuel consumption, service records, and trip logs.
Ensure compliance with safety norms, RTO, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments for transport needs and vendor follow-up.
Skills Required:
Sound knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transport administration.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel / report preparation).
Good communication and team-handling ability.
Vendor and driver management skills.
