Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, for the role of a Retail Sales Officer. The Retail Sales Officer will be responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized advice, and showcasing products to enhance the customer shopping experience. Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, managing merchandise displays, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
The role also requires staying updated on product knowledge, trends, and company offerings to effectively drive sales and promote brand loyalty.
Qualifications
Customer Service and Sales
Skills:
Must possess excellent customer relationship management, sales, and negotiation skills, along with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Communication and Interpersonal
Skills:
Effective verbal communication, listening abilities, and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Product Knowledge and Market Awareness:
Familiarity with luxury jewelry, diamonds, and gold, as well as an understanding of market trends and consumer preferences.
Team Collaboration and Time Management:
Ability to work collaboratively with the team while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Additional Qualifications:
Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, prior retail experience is a plus, and proficiency in local languages and basic computer skills are desirable.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree or relevant retail/sales certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
