Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Fitter to join our purpose-driven manufacturing team in Coimbatore. This is a full-time, mid-level role ideal for candidates with up to 6 years of hands-on mechanical experience. As a Mechanical Fitter at Vilvah Store Private Limited, you will play a vital role in ensuring machine efficiency and uptime for our high-performance production facility.

Qualifications And Skills

Mechanical Assembly (Mandatory skill) - Proven experience in the assembly, alignment, and fitting of mechanical systems for production machines.
Preventative Maintenance (Mandatory skill) - Expertise in scheduled maintenance to optimize machine performance and prevent equipment failures.
Hydraulics (Mandatory skill) - Strong working knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
Pneumatics - Practical understanding of pneumatic systems used in automated or processing machinery and their routine maintenance needs.
Machine Installation - Hands-on experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new or upgraded industrial equipment.
Fault Diagnosis - Analytical ability to identify, assess, and resolve various mechanical malfunctions efficiently and accurately.
Safety Compliance - Deep commitment to adhering to workplace safety standards and ensuring compliance with organizational protocols.
Troubleshooting - Strong capability to quickly troubleshoot issues in mechanical and automated systems to minimize downtime and output losses.

Roles And Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and maintain production machinery as per operational requirements and technical specifications.
Perform regular preventative maintenance and complete necessary documentation to maintain equipment health and reliability.
Diagnose fault conditions quickly, and carry out timely repairs to minimize disruption to manufacturing schedules.
Carry out hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance, including inspections, adjustments, and repairs as needed.
Support the installation and commissioning of new machines, ensuring correct alignment and function from day one.
Implement and comply with all safety protocols to create a safe workplace and protect team members and assets.
Collaborate with production supervisors and other technical teams to address and resolve recurring or critical issues.
Maintain accurate service and repair records, ensuring all works are logged for future reference and compliance.
