Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Scheduling
Prepare and implement production plans and schedules to meet delivery targets.
Adjust plans as needed based on order volume and priority.
2. Quality Control
Maintain high quality standards across all stages of production.
Implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
3. Resource Management
Allocate labor, materials, and machinery effectively to maximize output.
Ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials.
4. Team Leadership
Lead a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians.
Guide, train, and evaluate team performance.
5. Health & Safety
Enforce safety standards and conduct regular training.
Address safety risks immediately.
6. Process Optimization
Identify ways to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Implement lean manufacturing techniques and best practices.
7. Inventory Management
Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory.
Avoid overstocking or material shortages.
8. Equipment Maintenance
Plan preventive maintenance schedules.
Minimize machine downtime and ensure smooth operations.
9. Budget & Cost Control
Work with operations team to manage production costs and stay within budget.
10. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate reports on daily output, quality issues, and delays.
11. Cross-functional Coordination
Coordinate with procurement, quality, logistics, and design teams.
Support R&D for improvements in furniture design and production.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the furniture industry.
At least 5 years of leadership experience in production.
Knowledge of solid wood work is a strong advantage.
Familiar with lean manufacturing, production planning, and quality control.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and production management tools.
