Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cosmetic Formulator with 4+ years of hands-on experience to join our innovation-driven team. In this role, you will focus on the research, formulation, and development of high-quality skincare and haircare products that reflect our clean beauty and sustainability philosophy. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in cosmetic science, strong formulation expertise, and a creative approach to product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Research emerging consumer trends, active ingredients, product formats, and packaging innovations in the beauty & personal care industry.
Conduct bench-scale experiments for new product development and validate performance through standard testing protocols.
Build and maintain a comprehensive database of scientific literature, patents, competitor benchmarks, and supplier resources.
Design and execute efficacy and sensory evaluations via internal panels and external testing partners.
Partner with marketing teams to support claims, storytelling, and promotional strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure smooth product development and timely launches.
Use digital insights and social listening tools to identify innovation opportunities.
Ensure strict compliance with GLP, GMP, ISO, and cosmetic regulatory standards in all lab and product development activities.

Key Requirements

Masters degree (M.Sc.) in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in R&D or formulation within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation techniques, and lab testing methods.
Familiarity with regulatory guidelines, product safety, and documentation practices.
Excellent skills in formulation documentation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced innovation environment.
A curious, trend-aware mindset with genuine passion for clean beauty and sustainable product innovation.
