Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore for a  Precision Machining Engineer.

The Precision Machining Engineer will be responsible for overseeing VMC, CNC machining processes, developing machining operations efficiency, ensuring dimensional accuracy, and maintaining quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating VMC & CNC programs, conducting troubleshooting, performing machine setup, monitoring production, and optimizing processes for efficiency. Collaboration with the design, production, and quality teams to achieve precision, consistency, and timely delivery is fundamental to this role.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge in CNC machining, tool selection, and machine setup

Experience with CAD/CAM software and an understanding of die designs
Ability to perform dimensional inspection, tolerance analysis, and quality control tasks
Problem-solving, process improvement, and knowledge of lean manufacturing practices
Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Hands-on experience in precision machining, preferably in the aluminum casting industry
Advanced knowledge in surface finishing techniques is a plus
Relevant technical degree/diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering
