About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Generative AI Engineer to join their innovative AI team in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and deploying advanced LLM-powered features across AI platforms. This role is suited for engineers with a strong foundation in modern software development and hands-on experience building GenAI, NLP, or LLM-driven applications. The candidate will work closely with product, infrastructure, and UI teams to build scalable AI solutions and push the boundaries of generative AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy LLM-powered features across AI platforms
- Implement prompt engineering techniques, fine-tuning strategies, embedding generation, and vector-based retrieval methods
- Build and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using public or private LLMs and vector databases
- Integrate and manage multi-agent coordination using protocols such as MCP (Multi-agent Communication Protocol)
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and UI teams to deliver end-to-end AI-powered features
- Develop scalable APIs and microservices to support AI workloads
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using prompt-oriented or vibe coding frameworks
- Continuously explore and implement advancements in LLM optimization, open-weight models, and inference tuning
Required Skills
- 3.5 years of hands-on experience in Generative AI, LLMs, or NLP-based applications
- Strong understanding of model fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA, PEFT, or full-model fine-tuning
- Experience working with embedding models and vector databases like Pinecone, Chroma
DB, Weaviate, or FAISS
- Solid knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture and contextual memory management
- Familiarity with multi-agent systems and protocols like MCP
- Experience with prompt-oriented development frameworks such as Lang Chain
- Strong experience in building APIs and microservices for AI-driven applications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related fields
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with open-source LLMs and model optimization techniques
- Exposure to advanced AI orchestration frameworks and agent-based systems
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment strategies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for AI workloads
- Experience with containerization and scalable AI infrastructure
