Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced  SAP BTP Technical Consultant  with strong expertise in ABAP cloud development and SAP BTP services. This role focuses on enabling clean core transformation, modernizing custom code, and building scalable extension solutions using SAP S/4

HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform.

Key Responsibilities

Drive clean core transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities to modernize and optimize custom developments
Act as a technical architect for SAP S/4

HANA and BTP-based extension strategies
Define and implement governance frameworks for custom code quality and development standards
Guide teams on best practices for extensibility, including in-app and side-by-side extensions
Perform custom code analysis, remediation, and transformation aligned with S/4

HANA data model simplifications
Recommend and implement modern development approaches using RAP, ABAP Cloud, and SAP BTP services
Leverage SAP AI capabilities to support intelligent development and code optimization
Support system modernization through impact analysis during S/4

HANA upgrades and conversions

Must-Have Skill Set

Strong hands-on experience in ABAP on SAP S/4

HANA
Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP

Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
Development experience using ABAP Cloud
Hands-on exposure to SAP Build Apps

Experience with SAP Business Process Automation
Working knowledge of SAP AI Core / AI Launchpad

Experience with ABAP CDS Views
Knowledge of in-app and side-by-side extensibility on SAP BTP

Experience with custom code analysis and quality tools (ATC, SQLM, Custom Code Migration tools, etc.)

Nice-to-Have Skill Set

Experience with CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
Knowledge of SAP Build solutions for extension development
Exposure to Joule for Developers or AI-assisted development tools
Understanding of modifications, enhancements, and ABAP workflows
Experience defining code quality governance and clean core standards
Prior involvement in SAP S/4

HANA system conversions or upgrade projects
