Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Coimbatore for an Astronomy & Space Educator. The responsibilities include developing lesson plans, conducting engaging educational sessions, facilitating hands-on activities, delivering astronomy workshops tailored to different age groups, and operating portable planetariums. The educator will collaborate with schools and students to foster an understanding and enthusiasm for astronomy and space science through interactive teaching methods and programs.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education techniques to deliver structured and impactful sessions.
Strong Communication and Teaching skills to inspire and effectively engage diverse audiences.
Experience in Training and facilitating interactive educational programs for different age groups.
Passion for astronomy, space science, and education, with the ability to translate complex concepts into interesting and relatable content.
Experience in using or managing educational tools like portable planetariums and DIY kits is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Astronomy, Science, or a related field is preferred.
