Qualifications And Skills

Demonstrated ability in content writing with a focus on clarity, grammar, and style to effectively communicate product functionalities and benefits. (Mandatory skill)
Experience or training in creating detailed product documentation, including user manuals, release notes, and technical guides. (Mandatory skill)
Proficient with APA documentation format, ensuring all product documentation is accurate and well-referenced. (Mandatory skill)
Strong research skills to gather information from subject matter experts and various sources for producing precise and authoritative product content.
Ability to practice UX writing by designing user-centric microcopy and product messages that support seamless software navigation and usage.
Copywriting skills for developing compelling product-related messaging, descriptions, and marketing collateral that resonate with educators.
Adaptability to switch between technical and creative writing styles as per project requirements and audience needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail, grammar, and consistent tone of voice across documents.

Roles And Responsibilities

Create, update, and maintain comprehensive product documentation for Edison

OS, including user guides, FAQs, and feature release notes.
Collaborate with product managers, software developers, and designers to understand technical details and transform them into clear, user-friendly content.
Conduct research and interviews with subject matter experts to accurately document product workflows, new features, and best practices.
Write UX copy for various elements of the product interface, ensuring alignment with usability standards and overall product voice.
Review and edit existing documentation to enhance clarity, accuracy, and consistency while maintaining APA style.
Work with the marketing team to craft copy for product launches, email campaigns, and website content relevant to educators and knowledge professionals.
Regularly update internal documentation and knowledge bases based on product updates and feedback from users or support teams.
Participate in product meetings, demos, and testing to stay updated on feature developments and ensure timely documentation delivery.
