Junior Accountant

Description   We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, maintaining ledgers, and supporting audits. This role is perfect for individuals looking to start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities    Assist in the preparation of financial statements
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare and analyze financial reports
Assist with audits and tax filings
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting

Skills and Qualifications    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Quick Books)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus
