Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate daily accounting entries in compliance with accounting standards.
Handle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, vendor payments, invoicing & reconciliations.
Perform Bank, Cash & Credit Card Reconciliation regularly.
Verify & process employee reimbursements, petty cash, and operational expenses.
Manage month-end closing activities — ledgers, depreciation, provisions, accruals, and schedules.
Compliance & Reporting
Assist in preparing and filing GST returns, GST input reconciliation, and related documentation.
Handle TDS calculations, payments, and returns.
Maintain proper documentation for statutory compliance.
Prepare MIS reports, financial summaries, P&L statements, and expense tracking reports.
Tax Audit & Statutory Audit Support
Coordinate with auditors during Tax Audit & Statutory Audit.
Prepare audit schedules, ledger extracts, supporting documents & reconciliations.
Assist in preparing financial statements, depreciation statements, compliance files, and tax audit reports.
Respond to audit queries promptly and accurately.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Core Accounting, GST, TDS, and Tax Audit fundamentals.
Hands-on experience in maintaining books of accounts.
Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formatting).
Working knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / Quick Books is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
2–3 years of experience in accounting or audit roles.
Experience in tax audit support is preferred.
