CONFIDENTIAL LEADERSHIP SEARCH

Location: Capital Region, New York (Albany–Troy–Schenectady Metro Area)
Compensation: $115,000 – $130,000 base salary + 15%–30% annual bonus
Schedule: Monday - Friday | Approximately 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview
As Plant Manager / Site Leader, you will oversee
all aspects of site operations
—from safety and staffing to fleet management, budgets, and compliance. This is an end-to-end leadership role for a facility handling high-volume waste and recycling operations, where your decisions directly impact efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments and enjoys leading a diverse team to meet both operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of daily operations—safety, staffing, equipment, and compliance

  • Oversee budgets, payroll, and operational controls

  • Foster a proactive safety culture and develop team members

  • Partner with stakeholders, regulators, and operational teams to drive results

Who you are:

  • The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in waste, recycling, environmental, or similar industrial operations and has a proven record of leading teams, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations and operational best practices

  • Focused on people development, efficiency, and measurable results

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Project Management, or a related field (preferred)

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in operational or industrial environments

  • Track record of driving efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement

Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary + significant performance bonus potential ($115K - $130K + 15 to 30% annual bonus)
