Job Title:

Designer

Duration: 1 year (strong possibility of extension)

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and perform design work for complex 3D engineering models and components.
• Apply detailed knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to many varied situations.
• Act as expert user of 3D CAD systems, with considerable experience in top‑down design work for complex 3D engineering models and components.
• Provide document maintenance and oversee placement and routing of electronic circuits.
• Create printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication drawings, plan PCB projects and create electronic schematic diagrams.
• Provide modelling leadership and counsel to other employees.

Job Requirements:

• Strong 3D modelling experience using Creo software is required.
• Experience modelling complex castings is required.
• Experience with iron castings is preferred.
• Experience with complex drive‑train modelling is preferred; manager is willing to see candidates with working castings experience versus a degree.
• 1st shift position, business casual dress code. Will need metatarsals for the first day.
