** Job Summary
** Women’s Services Educator – System Services
Location:
Memorial City – System Services
Schedule:
Hybrid (2–3 days onsite; remote when not teaching) Position Summary The Women’s Services Educator – System Services serves as a system-wide educational leader for Women’s Services across all campuses. This senior-level educator will design, deliver, and oversee educational programs that support nurses at every stage of practice, including new graduates, fellows, and experienced clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the system liaison for all Women’s Services educators across multiple campuses
• Design, develop, and deliver educational programs and training modules for Women’s Services
• Lead and support the Nurse Fellowship Program and the NRP program
• Provide teaching, mentoring, and professional development support for new nurses, fellows, and experienced staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders to identify educational needs and support system-wide initiatives
• Actively participate in and lead projects related to education, quality, and professional practice
• Ensure consistency and standardization of Women’s Services education across all locations
Minimum Qualifications
• Active RN license, BSN
• Minimum of 2 years of RN clinical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of education-related experience
• Labor & Delivery and/or Women’s Services clinical experience required
Preferred Experience
• Master's Degree or Specialty Certification
• Formal education experience at a senior or system level
• Experience developing educational curricula or training modules
• Project leadership or project management experience
• Experience working across multiple campuses or departments Position is responsible for autonomously providing expertise in the process of adult education, instructional design and training that facilitates the promotion of competent and quality patient care. Supports clinical employees in their efforts to acquire knowledge and skills, and their professional development. Typically reports to the campus Manager or Director of Clinical Education and Professional Development.##

* Education:
** Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, Master’s Degree in related field preferred.

* Licenses/Certifications:
*** Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing required.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
* Nursing Professional Development (NPD) certification preferred.
** Experience / Knowledge /
Skills:
*** Two (2) years of nursing experience required.
* Three (3) years of education-related experience required.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
** PRINCIPAL
ACCOUNTABILITIES
*** Performs competency management job functions including needs assessment, gap analysis and monitoring of compliance.
* Builds upon competency management functions to include precepting new educators, analysis and management of competencies.
* Develops and disseminates all levels of educational content/programs utilizing various learning methods/domains.
