Color & Curl Concierge
As a Color & Curl Concierge / Colour & Curl Specialist, you will showcase our industry dominance in color services, talent development, and sales. You will combine daily sales associate duties with expert product knowledge, client consulting, and brand advocacy.
Responsibilities- Maximize sales by creating increased customer retention and loyalty.
- Build lasting relationships and drive brand awareness to grow hair color market share.
- Use market analysis to sell approved beauty products, introduce new concepts, and provide customer service and product education both in‑store and virtually.
- Provide color & curl/texture consulting services to professional beauty salons, barbers, spas, schools, and licensed cosmetologists.
- Determine customer color and care needs, offering professional advice and recommendations.
- Communicate upward and cross‑functionally regarding calls, orders, sales status, and follow‑up plans.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of color merchandising, signage, and display to meet brand guidelines.
- Stay informed of emerging trends and adapt sales techniques to market changes.
- Perform store opening/closing procedures accurately, including occasional cash handling.
- Demonstrate Cosmo Prof/BSG culture values and adhere to company code of ethics.

- 1 year of retail or sales‑focused experience.
- Licensing as a cosmetologist (highly preferred in US and Canada).
- Reliable transportation for in‑store service.
- Availability to travel to shows/meetings min. 3 times/year.
- Strong business acumen and ability to interpret sales reports.
- Knowledge of retail sales, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
- Proficiency in POS systems.
- Computer literacy across iPads, mobile devices, and social media platforms.
- Commitment to scheduled hours, with flexibility for additional hours.
- May be required to work in other stores or field at times.
- Strong time‑management, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Professional image and positive public interaction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels.
- Must pass Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire to remain in position.
Physical Requirements
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts typical of office, meeting, training rooms, retail stores, and travel. Perform safety precautions with office equipment, avoid trips and falls, observe fire regulations, and follow traffic signals.
