As an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) at our Street Medicine Clinic, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. You will deliver high-quality medical services, including health assessments, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, and patient education for our diverse patient population. Requirements The

Minimum Qualifications
  • Physician Assistant: A medical license from the State of Idaho to practice medicine as a Physician Assistant under a Physician’s supervision plus a medical certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Inc. (NCCPA) is required. The medical license must be free of restriction and no litigation or disciplinary actions may be pending against the incumbent.
  • Nurse Practitioner:
    Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in the State of Idaho or qualified to receive certification as an FNP or ARNP in the state of Idaho. State of Idaho RN or ability to receive licensure required.
  • Must have or ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, DEA and State of Idaho Controlled Substance Registration numbers.
  • 2 or more years of experience as a primary care provider is preferred.
Your Essential Duties
  • In accordance with standard of care and within scope of practice, provides primary care to patients through diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic problems in accordance with standards of care as described in Principles of Practice, protocols, and scope of practice as approved by supervising physician and Board of Medicine.
