Kootenai Health is seeking a warm, visible, hands-on Nurse Manager with recent Level III or IV NICU experience to lead our 16-bed Level III NICU
.
This role is ideal for a relationship-driven leader who enjoys being present with their team and partnering closely with neonatologists, OB, and Pediatric Hospitalists
. Our NICU cares for infants 26 weeks to term
, with ~
25% requiring respiratory support (CPAP, HFNC, ventilated).

What you’ll lead
- NICU (24.5 FTE) and Float team (15 FTE)
- High-risk OB collaboration and regional outreach growth
- Simulation, education, and skill development
- Full-time, exempt
- Salary: $155,000–$176,100 (negotiable based on experience)
- 16-bed NICU | ~200 births/month
