PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OR NURSE PRACTITIONER (PA OR NP) - AXIS SPINE
Northwest Specialty is seeking a provider to join our Axis Spine Team!
In our Axis Spine Clinic, you will participate in the entirety of patient care including initial assessments, analyzing and interpreting symptoms, monitoring the patient’s treatment, and performing follow-up assessments.
Responsibilities- Participate in the entirety of patient care, including initial assessments, analyzing and interpreting symptoms, monitoring patient treatment, and performing follow-up assessments.
- Evaluate and interpret symptoms, patient histories, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Recommend diagnostic or therapeutic interventions with attention to safety, cost, invasiveness, acceptability, adherence, and efficacy.
- Perform procedures and surgeries.
- Educate patients about self‑management.
- Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, costs, as legally authorized, and in line with the department’s multidisciplinary approach.
- Current licensure in the State of Idaho.
- Graduate of a master’s degree program of Medicine or Nursing.
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification upon hire.
- Must be able to achieve Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of employment.
- Family Medicine experience preferred.
