Join Asset Living as a Community Manager
, overseeing the operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage all phases of operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial administration, and risk management, ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.
- Lead and supervise on-site staff; manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, and administrative activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, safety standards, and fair housing guidelines.
- Develop and monitor budgets, financial reporting, and operating metrics; manage rent collections, deposits, and vendor invoicing.
- Develop yearly marketing plans and leasing strategies; supervise leasing activities and ensure timely move-ins.
- Implement resident retention programs and handle resident concerns to maximize satisfaction and occupancy.
- Plan and execute administrative and maintenance routines, including property inspections and safety compliance.
- Direct emergency response for the property in accordance with company guidelines to minimize liability.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors; obtain bids and manage service quality and timeliness.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with affordable housing programs (e.g., LIHTC, HUD programs, USDA Rural Development, HOME Funds, etc.).
- Affordable Housing Accreditation (HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or other applicable designations preferred but not required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent;
Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years of housing industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
- Proficiency with on-site software and basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
- Regular standing, walking, and use of hands; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

- Must have reliable transportation due to emergency on-call requirements.
Compensation and Benefits include a total rewards package with medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, 401K with employer matching, commissions and performance bonuses where applicable, paid sick days, and company holidays. Salary Range: $27 per hour to $29 per hour.
