• Prepares IV chemotherapy and pre-medications.
• Dispenses chemotherapy and other IV medications to patients and supports the medically integrated dispensary.
• Maintains accurate and organized records of medications, supplies and transactions.
• Ensures physician orders are processed in a timely manner.
• Helps manage inventory and anticipates medication and supply needs.
• Assists with grants, prior authorizations, and insurance eligibility and verification.
• Displays professionalism and has strong customer service and communication skills.
• Complies with all applicable procedures, rules and regulations and adheres to health and safety policies and protocols.

• Communication:
  Ability to act as a liaison for regulatory agencies and generate verbal and written reports of observations.
• Ethics:
  Uphold the code of ethics in regard to medical science and human subjects.
• Team Player:
  Work well with others in conversations, projects, meetings, or collaborations; communicate effectively, listen actively, and demonstrate responsibility and honesty.
• Experience in sterile compounding required; chemotherapy experience strongly preferred.
• Must be capable of wearing the required PPE during compounding activities.

• Sterile compounding experience strongly preferred.
• Pharmacy technician experience required.
• Medical oncology terminology and experience preferred.
• Idaho pharmacy technician license, required upon hire.
• Certified pharmacy technician, earned within 6 months of employment.

Pay: Starting at $25/hour
