- Oversee patient admission, medication delivery, patient processing, chart preparation, and use of community resources.
- Address complaints and grievances promptly.
- Maintain high standards of the treatment center’s infrastructure.
- Handle urgent and emergent issues, even outside regular hours.
- Regularly report on and improve treatment program performance.
- Manage revenue collection and budgeted expenditures.
- Support programs response to chart audit findings, including development and administration, action planning, training and follow up to ensure resolution of identified documentation and service delivery deficiencies.
- Proactively identify gaps and risks in clinical services and documentation; report trends to leadership and support implementation of needed corrective actions in a timely manner along with training when needed.
- Identify and make recommendations for continuous quality improvement opportunities.
- Understand the clinical service and documentation requirements for State, Federal, Joint Commission, and third-party payors in their assigned regions.
- Support the clinical and quality improvement initiatives of the organization, including service expansion, with planning, organizing, tracking, and coordinating these initiatives to ensure the standardization of best practices for BHG’s clinical operations.
- Provide support, training and education to center clinical teams to improve quality of care to patient services.
- Must have at least 3 years of operations leadership within healthcare, preferably within behavioral health or addiction treatment.
- The ideal candidate is a technically competent leader with significant experience in the management of substance abuse treatment services across economically and culturally diverse communities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment and billing/coding auditing.
- Ability to manage workload and mentor staff effectively.
- Effective communication via phone, virtual meetings, and in-person.
- Variable workload.
- Standard medical office conditions; prolonged keyboarding.
