EEG Technologist

• Schedule/Shift/Hours Full Time - Nights - 12 Hour Shifts

Operates specialized equipment which measures and records electrical activity of the brain, peripheral nervous system, and spinal cord.

• Works under the supervision of a registered EEG Technologist
• Assists in the analysis and diagnosis of disorders in the brain and nervous system such as brain tumors, sleep disorders, strokes and epilepsy
• Performs a variety of tasks
• Reports to supervisor or manager
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

• Graduate of an Electroneuro diagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation OR equivalent formal training
• Registry eligible in EEG by ABRET
• Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications related to position duties with a variety of software
• BLS required

• Must be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
• Typical equipment used in a clinical job
• Must be able to move or traverse without accommodation
