Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant with 1-2 years experience to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
  • Manage patient records, including medical documentation and electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as needed, including handling dental receptionist duties.
Skills
  • Proficient in using EMR systems such as Dentrix & Dexis
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques.
  • Experience with four-handed dentistry practices.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and 3D scanners.
  • Ability to perform basic vital sign assessments.
  • BLS is required
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a clinical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Position is FT, Mon-Friday 6:45am-5:15pm (8 hr shift). Position is temp and has strong possibility of going perm! For immediate consideration please APPLY NOW!
